With 10,000 people joining us at Wembley for ASICS LDNX 2026 on Sunday 11 October, we wanted every finisher to take home a stunning reward that will stand out in any collection. A beauty from first sight, you might not immediately realise the relevance behind the medal’s distinctive design.
WHAT INSPIRED THE 2026 ASICS LDNX MEDAL?
The medal draws its inspiration from one of English football’s greatest moments, the 1966 World Cup victory at Wembley Stadium. We’ve captured the raw energy that still reverberates around the area, using a soundwave to create a stunning modern medal design. Scroll down to find out more.

WHAT DO THE DETAILS ON THE ASICS LDNX MEDAL MEAN?
Nothing about this reward is generic, with every aspect designed by real humans, creating a medal unlike any other run in the world.
-
The Soundwave of Victory: The medal is uniquely shaped by a soundwave inspired by the roar of the crowd during England’s historic 1966 World Cup win, capturing that moment of ultimate celebration in time.
-
The Hollowed-Out ‘X’: Piercing the centre of the design is a bold, hollowed-out ‘X’, proudly symbolising your 10K achievement and marking your place in the LDNX legacy.
-
Wembley Coordinates: Flip the medal over to find the exact geographical coordinates of Wembley Stadium (52.5560°N, 0.2796°W ) etched into the reverse, a permanent nod to the hallowed turf where history is made.
